The Byrna SD (Self Defense), powered by compressed air (CO2), is a redesigned and upgraded version of the popular Byrna HD series. It shoots .68 caliber round projectiles that can disable a threat from up to 60-feet away. The Byrna SD features a straight trigger with a 6.5 lb. trigger pull weight on the second shot, providing a smoother press, and an ambidextrous safe/fire switch for easy toggling for both left-handed and right-handed individuals.

Introducing the new Byrna SD, which boasts upgraded 3 blade fixed sights that allow for quicker target acquisition and a more consistent sight picture. The Byrna SD Ultimate Bundle includes a Byrna SD Launcher, 2 tubes of 5-count Kinetic Projectiles, 1 tube of 5-count Eco Kinetic Projectiles, a 50-count bag of Kinetic projectiles, 7 8g CO2 cylinders, a Byrna branded EVA travel / storage case, and 2 5-round Magazines.

The Byrna SD is a unique "un-gun" that looks and performs like a gun, but is designed to be non-lethal. No background checks or permits are required to own and carry the Byrna SD, as long as the user is 18 or older. The Byrna SD Launcher has an effective range of up to 60 ft with an average projectile speed of 300 feet per second, providing a safe and effective self-defense tool.

The Byrna SD is available in three color options: Black, Tan, and Orange.
